Hi there! This month was all about Action Wobbles, and let me tell you, they were really fun to work with! I made 4 cards with them that I’d like to share with you today.
The first is a birthday card using some chipboard cupcakes that I cut apart and layered to give it extra dimension. I made it’s little paper wrapper by scoring a strip of patterned paper, and inked the top of the ridges.
Next up, a quick little “hello” card. Lots of Kat Scrappiness goodies on this one! I really wanted to use the hot air balloons but they were a bit small for the Action Wobbles, so I layered a couple of them on top of one of the large clouds and backed the whole thing with some cardstock to keep it all sturdy. I also used a balsa banner to hold my sentiment. Love those things!
This thank you card was the perfect opportunity to use the adorable little popsicles. They come in lots of different colors, and are perforated down the center so you could even split them apart if you wanted to.
And finally, my favorite – a sweet little kitty. I colored and fussy cut the image, and then mounted it on the Action Wobble. I used some wire I had handy to recreate the strings on the balloons, so that it would hold it’s shape while wobbling away.
I hope these cards gave you some ideas for using the Action Wobbles. Give them a try and show us what you come up with!
Stay tuned for a video showing these projects coming soon!
